    Many records were quickly made and gigs played aroud Finland. Music was very free played with almost no pre-plans in live situations. Core trio remained center of studio recordings with regular visitor Keijo Virtanen while on live sessions many various people were asked to play with Vapaa. At best there was 10 people on stage playing freely.

    "I haven't heard the first Vapaa cdr (also on L), but it's been described as "free ambient" (whatever that means). After that they got a few tracks on some compilation and they were ok freejazz. This minute disc is again something different: very lo-fi experimental folk that so many (=too many) people make nowadays. There are some good.

    Based in Jyväskylä, Finland, Keijo Virtanen is somewhat of a legend in the whole finnish psych scene (on the same level as Pekka Airaksinen - in fact the two have collaborated before). He’s been working on music for ages but his work has only been starting to .

    vapa vs vapaa. Kuvat ovat kopioituja ja muokattuja luvatta rehellisen käytön perusteella.. În pronunția străinilor, adesea se amestecă două cuvinte apropiate ca formă dar complet diferite ca sens: vapa – băț de undiță, de lansetă și vapaa – liber. Necazul apare și din cauză că vapaa apare în cuvintele compuse doar ca vapa– iar partitivul lui vapa este vapaa.
