    Stand Your Own Playground Playground begins with the rather ornate “Spread a Little Sunshine” which brings The Truth on the sophisticated pop territory but the second song “Exception of Love” is in the vein of pure mod revival in the style Paul Weller aptly adopted. “So Many Things” is an agreeable mod song but with the strong power pop flavour and in this way the entire album goes.
